Makino of Japan recently launched MCC-VG series horizontal machining center

Makino, a Japanese machine tool manufacturer, recently launched the MCC-VG series of horizontal machining centers. The spindle of the machining center can be tilted to the optimum angle and then accurately reached the machining position. This breaks through the traditional thinking of 3-axis simultaneous machining and oblique hole machining, which greatly shortens the processing time of large-scale mold processing and makes the mold surface smoother.

With this tilting spindle, even short-length tools can achieve high-efficiency machining, which avoids collisions between the spindle and the tool and the table.

The deep cavity and cooling holes can be machined in the same workpiece setup. In addition, the machine can continuously process the inclined holes from different angles without changing the setting environment.
