Biomass energy summary

Biomass energy refers to the energy that plant chlorophyll converts solar energy into chemical energy stored in biomass. Currently, the development and utilization technology is mainly to convert solid biomass into combustible gas, tar, etc. through thermochemical conversion technology. The chemical conversion technology converts biomass into biogas, alcohol, etc. under the fermentation of microorganisms, and compresses biomass into high-density solid fuel by compaction molding technology.

The energy contained in biomass fuels is formed by photosynthesis of plants and is a renewable energy source. The use of this fuel, if it reaches the balance of output and consumption, does not increase the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but excessive consumption such as deforestation and depletion of organic matter that can be returned to the soil will destroy the balance of production and consumption. The biomass is used to generate biogas in the biogas digesters for the lighting, and the residue is still a good organic fertilizer. The production of ethanol methanol from biomass can be used as an automotive fuel.
