Green energy policy continues to help develop the photovoltaic industry

Green energy policy continues to help develop the photovoltaic industry With China's entry into the world's major energy-consuming countries, how to increase the use of energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions has become the most important issue facing sustainable development.

The Chinese government has announced its commitment under the Copenhagen Accord that by 2020, the national unit GDP of CO2 has fallen by 40-45% compared to 2005, and the share of non-fossil energy in primary energy consumption has increased to around 15%. To achieve these goals, we must increase the use of new energy.

76% of the country's land is full of light and its light energy resources are evenly distributed. Compared with hydropower, wind power, and nuclear power, solar power has no emissions and noise, and its application technology is mature, safe, and reliable. Since 2007, China's photovoltaic industry has been driven by domestic and European and American markets, and it has entered a very rapid development period. China has ranked first in the world in photovoltaic cell output for four consecutive years. In 2010, the output of photovoltaic cells in China exceeded 50% of the world's total production.

However, the industry's development process has faced many problems. The main problems are: a serious overcapacity, excessive reliance on external demand, and widespread business difficulties. Among these, in the past 2012, these problems have been particularly prominent, and the entire industry chain is almost in the form of collapse.

Under this circumstance, in order to support its development, the government has increased the utilization rate of green energy in China and successively introduced policies to support the industry. At the same time, as an energy-consuming country, China is expected to reach the global average level of photovoltaic power generation proposed in the IEA technology roadmap by 2020. Accumulated PV installations will need to reach 60 GW of PV by 2020 and 270 GW by 2030. Realizing this value requires a paradigm shift in China's energy policies and plans.

Therefore, the development of China's photovoltaic industry will continue to move forward under related goals and policies.
