High-rank ore mining technology in China's Minmetals metal mines has reached international advanced level

China Minmetals has cooperated with related research institutes and enterprises to carry out research on key technologies such as structural design and mining of mines and hollow areas and achieved significant results. The first is to establish the principle and method of collaborative enhanced mining, and to establish the design method and associated indicator model for the mining structure of the orebody; second is to develop key technologies for the collaborative enhanced mining in the open-air area, and to break through the collaborative caving to enhance the mining difficulties in the interlaced and stacked group environment; It is a key technology for the development of underground subterranean co-excavation, solving the problems of large-scale borehole blasting and shock absorption control, etc. Fourth, it is developing the three-dimensional laser detection intelligent technology and equipment to fill the domestic gap.

The technological achievements authorized 9 patents for inventions, and the main indicators were among the leading international standards. In recent years, they have won the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Hunan Province and the first prize of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award. The results have been applied to more than 20 mines. By the end of 2014, over 65 million tons of high-risk ore bodies have been cumulatively mined, and 13.72 million cubic meters of co-processing empty areas have been accumulated. The cumulative new sales have exceeded 20 billion yuan and the metal has been realized. Mineral resources and other resources are fully utilized. After applying this result, the above-mentioned mines did not experience empty subsidence accidents, which played an important role in ensuring the safety of production personnel and avoiding the loss of equipment assets, and the social benefits were very significant.
