Recently, the reporter learned from the Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that from January to August, a total of 15.4 million pairs of footwear were exported to the area, totaling 1.298 billion pairs, and the export volume reached 4.201 billion US dollars, up by 24.80%, 10.75%, and 24.80 respectively over the same period of last year. %, and the average export unit price hit a record high.
Research found that this year's footwear exports in Fujian showed four major positive. Firstly, the unit price of footwear was high, and the average unit price for export from January to August was 3.24 US dollars per pair, a record high; the second was rapid adjustment of product structure, the export volume of plastic shoes increased by 136.8%, and the export volume of synthetic leather shoes increased by 118.90%. Third, the European and American markets recovered well. From January to August, the value of exports to Europe and the United States reached 2.68 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 63.79% of the total value of goods. Fourth, the number of shoe enterprises increased. From January to August, the export scale of Fujian jurisdiction exceeded 2000. There are 26 footwear companies with 10,000 US dollars, an increase of 8 over the same period of last year.
