According to the "three bases and two sides" calculation, the amount of primer and top coat is multiplied by 3 (pass) and 2 (pass) respectively, ie 1/15*3*X*3 kg and 1/15*3*X*2. kg.
Method 2: Calculate the area of ​​the panel painted as needed
Take this homemade shoe, in addition to the back and bottom, the top, front and both sides need to paint. The length, width and height of this shoe are 0.9 meters, 0.3 meters and 1 meter, respectively. Then, the areas of the top surface, the front surface, and the two sides are 0.9*0.3 square meters, 0.9*1 square meters, and 0.3*1*2 square meters, ie, 0.27 square meters, 0.9 square meters, and 0.6 square meters, respectively. Because the two doors of the shoe cabinet are shuttered, the amount of paint is relatively more, and the paint amount of these two doors is multiplied by a factor of 1.2. That is to say, brushing these two doors equals a panel of 0.9*1.2 square meters. .
According to the calculation of the brush, the paint amount of this shoe is 1/15*(0.27+0.9*1.2+0.6)=0.13 kg. Calculated on the basis of "three bases and two sides," the required amount of primer and top coat for this shoe is 0.39 kg and 0.26 kg, respectively.

The bookcase is 4.4 meters long and 2.4 meters high. It requires brushing paint, in addition to the upper and lower rows of doors and the inside of the cabinet that can be seen through the glass. We can calculate the area of ​​the upper and lower rows of doors, 4.4*(2.4-1.2)=5.28 square meters.
