Inspection and maintenance of reducer lubricants Oil level race, put the oil race and aerator position determined by the installation location. Their location can refer to reducer installation location map to determine. Check the oil cut off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer cooling! Remove the oil level plug to check if the oil is full. Install the oil level plug. Check the oil cut off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer cooling! Open the drain plug, take the oil sample. Check the oil viscosity index - if the oil is clearly cloudy, it is recommended to replace as soon as possible. For gearbox with oil level screw plug - Check if the oil level is acceptable - Replace the oil level screw oil. After the oil cools, the viscosity of the oil increases. It is difficult to drain the oil. The reducer should change the oil at operating temperature. Cut off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait for the gearbox to cool down until there is no danger of burning! Note: The gearbox should be kept warm while changing oil. Put a drain pan under the drain plug. Open the oil level plug, aerator and drain plug. Remove all oil. Install drain plug. Into the same brand of new oil. The amount of oil should be consistent with the installation location.
