Abstract: This paper introduces the successful application of the IHP100 series micro-network double-end converter in the island megawatt microgrid project using Huichuan technology intelligent microgrid scheme.

I. Introduction

Because remote areas are far away from power plants, the area is sparsely populated, and the overall electricity consumption is not large, the long-distance erection of transmission networks is not economical, especially when the islands are far from the land. The initial investment and post-maintenance costs of laying submarine cables are difficult to recover. Therefore, the power supply in these areas is mostly provided by diesel generators.

As the cost of diesel power generation continues to rise, the consumption of non-renewable energy will also cause serious environmental pollution. Therefore, the use of renewable energy to generate electricity has gradually entered the power supply system in remote areas. Traditional renewable energy generation requires diesel generators to build backbone networks to assist in work, and is greatly affected by environmental factors, which cannot meet people's demand for high-quality power supply.

The intelligent microgrid scheme proposed by “Huichuan Technology” can effectively solve the problems of power supply in remote areas, reduce or completely eliminate diesel engine power generation, improve the impact of environmental factors on renewable energy generation, and provide users with safe and stable power. supply. The Beibu Island 1.274MW off-grid photovoltaic energy storage power station project is based on this project.
