Reducing the iron content in the glass and increasing the light transmittance of the glass, the main technological transformation measures for producing low-iron solar photovoltaic glass include the following aspects:

1. Completely remove (make sure the glass color is consistent) red powder, ie iron oxide, in the batch.

2. Select a siliceous material with low iron content, reduce the iron content from the source, and generally choose refined quartz sand with iron content within 100ppm (concentration unit).

3. Reduce or remove the mechanical iron incorporated into the outside world. Because these foreign irons enter the kiln during the weighing and mixing process, all parts of the equipment that contact the raw materials must be padded with polyethylene lining or sprayed. deal with.

4. Use less reducing agent and oxidant in the batch. In order to produce low-iron solar photovoltaic glass, many enterprises have removed pulverized coal (reducing agent) in the batch material, increased the amount of thenardite, and reduced the amount of soda ash.

5. The broken glass system is the key part of the highest iron content. Attention should be paid to the control of the material and crushing size of the key parts of the crusher.

6. Optimize the iron removal system, add a strong iron removal screen (for permanent magnet material) in the powder system, and install a strong iron remover in the broken glass system.
