Mastering the amount of feed-grade methionine for feeding livestock and poultry

The broiler chicken is added 0.1-2.5%, the laying hen is 0.1-0.2%, the egg-producing period is 0.1%, the egg-laying period is 0.05%, and the broiler feed is preferably added with 3-5% fat such as butter, lard and soybean oil. In pigs, methionine is generally used in an amount of 50% of lysine, and sufficient methionine must be added to the broiler laying hen feed. If the rapeseed cake and cottonseed cake are used instead of soybean meal, the amount of lysine added must be increased by 20%. If fish meal is used instead of soybean meal, the amount of lysine added can be reduced by 20%. When designing the formula, it should be flexibly controlled according to different varieties of pigs, different stages and different feed ingredients, in order to obtain better feeding benefits.
