The adjustment target board should also be tangent to the label paper (with zero distance), ensuring a stable positioning. After this setup, the standard box can be adjusted by 1mm to 2mm for optimal performance.
The gap between the standard paper and the beads on both sides should be maintained between 0.8mm and 1mm. If the gap is too large, the standard paper may shift within the box, leading to misaligned or slanted labels. On the other hand, if the gap is too small, it can cause poor push marks, affecting the overall quality of the labeling process.
Adjusting the position of the labeling hooks in the standard box is crucial. The upper and lower grasping hooks, as well as the left and right ones, should all lie on the same vertical plane and work evenly on the standard paper. This ensures that the label is smoothly captured and properly applied without any distortion.
Additionally, the label supply roller needs careful calibration. When there is no label present, the label holder should be pressed to the farthest end of the cassette. When the label is applied, the area near the label hook should not be crushed, preserving the integrity of the label and preventing damage during the process.
Proper maintenance and regular checks of the labeling machine are essential to avoid downtime and ensure consistent performance. Whether it's adjusting the alignment, managing the gaps, or checking the roller mechanism, every detail contributes to the efficiency and accuracy of the labeling system.
