At 6:00 PM on December 18th, during the evening shift handover meeting at Hong'an Railway Station, the station master emphasized the importance of personal safety measures for night shift workers due to the sharp drop in temperature. The forecasted minimum temperature had fallen to minus 4 degrees Celsius, prompting staff to wear warm jackets, gloves, and ensure seat belts were fastened. The focus was on preventing frostbite and maintaining safety during outdoor operations.
In recent days, the sudden cold snap has created challenging conditions for on-site work, increasing risks to employees' well-being. To address these concerns, the station has prioritized a people-centered approach, conducting regular meetings such as name-name sessions, shift briefings, and study groups to reinforce personal safety education among staff. Employees have been trained on recent incidents reported by the headquarters and railway bureau, including watching the "All Road Labor Safety Publicity and Education Film" and discussing real-life cases to raise awareness and prevent similar accidents.
Special training has been organized for workers identified as being at higher risk, aiming to improve their safety consciousness and ability to avoid potential dangers. All employees are now required to wear appropriate protective gear during winter operations to safeguard their health. Additionally, the station has intensified efforts to improve the safety environment across key areas, including operating yards, platforms, freight areas, walkways, and stairs. Safety warning signs have been installed in high-risk zones to remind workers to stay alert and avoid slips and falls.
To further ensure operational safety, the station has also implemented routine inspections of heating equipment used during winter. These checks aim to prevent electrical hazards and maintain a safe working environment. Alongside these preventive measures, the station has increased on-site supervision, focusing on critical tasks and positions to identify and address hidden safety risks. Any violations or lapses in safety protocols are thoroughly reviewed, and corrective actions are taken to reinforce employee awareness and self-protection skills.
Since the start of winter, the station has identified 12 safety hazards related to worker well-being, all of which have been fully addressed. These proactive steps demonstrate the station’s commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of its employees throughout the cold season.
Water Sampling System
The water sampling system is a integration system used for boilers' water quality monitoring, testing & inspection, especially used for the high pressure & temperature boiler water steam continuous testing in the power plants, which can be very helpful for thermal systems' reliable operation. The water sampling system composed of cooling system, constant temperature units and chemical analyzers, which is widely used in in lots of industry such as nuclear power, thermal power, chemical industry etc, as monitoring and controlling the sample water flow rate, pressure and quality analyse. Also, it provided to have advantage of good treatment result, high automation level, easy to operation and management, less occupied area, compact size and convenience in transport. The water sampling system committed to provide flexible optimal solution which according to different chemical and customer requirement, and it also provide different type of control model including automatic and manual control.
