Dacheng Xiangdong's perlite fireproof board is a high-performance insulation and fire-resistant material, typically made using water glass (sodium silicate) with a specific molar ratio. Through a high-temperature hot pressing process, it is formed into plates of various sizes. Inorganic binders such as magnesite cement can also be used to bond perlite or vermiculite, and foaming agents may be added to reduce the weight of the core board for doors. This product is widely used in building partitions and other applications.
Alternatively, organic binders like urea-formaldehyde resin, polyester, protein-based adhesives, or construction glues (such as 107 or 801 glue) can be used. However, some of these may release harmful substances or emit toxic gases when burned. After proper curing and aging, the boards can be used in both normal and high-temperature environments, such as thermal insulation boards, soundproofing boards, and heat-insulating panels.

When inorganic bonding materials are used as the main raw material, and non-ionic or neutral-state binders are applied, the plate structure avoids displacement reactions with metal molecules. Each perlite particle is coated, and the surface forms a protective film, providing excellent water resistance and preventing moisture absorption. The resulting product features high corrosion resistance, low thermal conductivity, moderate bulk density, strong water-repellent properties, and resistance to acids, alkalis, salt, and freeze-thaw cycles.
It also offers high-temperature resistance, good sound insulation, shock absorption, heat insulation, flame retardancy, no black smoke, and no toxic gas emissions after burning (meeting GB/T 20285-2006 and GB 12955-2008 standards). It is suitable for use as a filling board in fire shutters and fire doors, and can replace traditional materials such as aluminum silicate wool, rock wool, glass water-type perlite boards, and foamed magnesite cement perlite boards.
